during the first semester of my masters', we were asked to explore our understandings of historical and emerging concepts in immersive storytelling through a proposal of our own speculative project.
being able to consider a work that would not be bound to practicality, scale, or current ability to create, helped me to think beyond my limited field of reference at the time and consider the end user as well as the purpose of creating such an experience.
this was accompanied by a project proposal to the arts council national lottery grant scheme, public facing branding/copy, and a speculative essay reflecting on the idea of novel impact, using my hypothetical finished work as a prime example.
